Leon Bolier May 2009 Update!
The Big News: Leon Bolier presents ‘Streamlined’!
High-tailing it out of the Spinnin’ Records and coming on faster than a speeding bullet, get ready for Leon’s new compilation maneuver… ‘Streamlined’! - Subtitled ‘Buenos Aries 2009’ (inspired by his most memorable debut in the Argentine capital), it’ll soon be setting its sights on a prized position on your CD or digital download collections. ‘Streamlined’ by name and streamlined by nature, the album will contain a mass of exclusive tracks from some very heavyweight artists indeed - all hand-picked by Mr Bolier. In the mix there will be 3 new solo L.B. tracks as well as ‘Last Light Tonight’ - his team-up with Menno de Jong. The first disc will showcase Leon’s love of all things tech to trance, while disc two will shine the light on the tracks that Leon will be champing live throughout this summer’s club and festival gigs. ‘Streamlined’ will be online-d on the 17th of June and available from all good CD shops.
New L.B. Music!
Also already sitting proudly on the tracklist of ‘Streamlined’ is his collaboration with her vocal hotness, Ms. Floria Ambra. Reaching single status very shortly, the track (entitled simply ‘This’) will be coming correct with a rocking Precursor remap. The track is out in June and available through all the big digital download stores. Don’t Miss!
Remixing
And on the fifth and sixth month in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Nine, Leon did unleash upon the land of trance a mighty remix triple. Why are we suddenly speaking all biblical? Well because the remixes in question are biblically large of course! First out the pot and ready to give the speakers a right roasting is Aly & Fila’s ‘Khepera’ on Offshore. Hot on its heels (and in remix partnership with Galen Behr) will be Marcus Schössöw’s ‘A New Beginning’ followed by his L.B. twist on Breakfast’s next Flashover release. Don’t say we starve you of music! Say anything, but please don’t say that…
Personal Word From Leon…
'The last few months have been massive - with nearly no time to spend in the studio, but as we speak I already finished the remix for Aly & Fila which, I think has turned out great! A nice full-on uplifting vibe combined with deeper techy beats. At the moment I’m also working on a remix for Breakfast, which will have more of a summer-ish flow about it. I hope to see you around the globe this summer! I am definitely looking forward to it!
New Leon Bolier ‘In the Studio’ YouTube Video Online!
The forth part of Leon’s ‘In The Studio’ production tutorial is online and available to view through his official YouTube channel. If you want to get even further behind Leon’s music, this is very much for you! While you’re over in that digital neck of the woods, be sure to check out the Trance Energy Australia video, which, intriguingly comes with a ‘viewer discretion is advised’ warning. For your dose of Kangas, Koalas, lasers and Tasers (alright, maybe not the last one), click, right, here! youtube.com/leonbolierofficial youtube.com/watch?v=2cGjS1d5xFI
Summerus Festivas Bolius (Leon’s Summer Festivals)
Leon’s summer schedule already plenty packed with some big, BIG gigs. Global Gathering Poland will be kicking things off at the festival end of things as Leon shoots over to Poznan (Poland’s capital of all things ‘party’) on the 6th of June. Meanwhile in July ID&T’s Tomorrowland will go off at Boom, near Antwerp, which we like to think has been selected as the venue purely because of its name.
May Mix UP!
If talk of ‘Streamlined’ has your ear twitching for some of Leon’s particular brand of electronic dance music, say not another word! You can download his killer May mix right this instant by clicking here. Go on, you know it makes sense!

Work in Progress – New Jonas tracks coming up!
Despite the ‘Cold Winds’ mania around Jonas Steur on dancefloors worldwide, new releases from our favorite Belgian artist are on it’s way! At this very moment, Jonas is working on a new collaboration with the lovely Jennifer Rene. It’s too early to say what exactly will happen with this new track (which is still in production as we write this), but the final destiny will surely be your ears! Of course this is not the only project going on; Steur has been working on several tracks the last weeks ranging from prog trance to house stuff. Also the start of a new collab with Julie Thompson is being planned for very soon. Jonas and Julie hope to deliver a great follow up to the very successful 'Cold Winds' single, which is still available with a tasty First State remix at your local online downloadportal!
On the remixside of life, things are getting sorted out on the Jonas’ way of life. The Jonas Steur remix from ‘Micah – Rush’ will be soon released on Robbie Rivera’s Juicy label and the fabulous Jonas Steur remix from ‘Paco Ymar – Evolution’ will see daylight soon on Drizzly.
Wanna have a taste in advance? Check out the Jonas Steur MySpace for the two new remixes by Jonas Steur!
‘Private Party’ – mixed by Jonas Steur
Black Hole Recordings asked Jonas Steur to deliver one of the editions of the brandnew ‘Private Party’ mix CD’s. Jonas already started the compiling for this masterpiece and this compilation will be featured with several brand new and unreleased tracks from Jonas and the other artists from the Black Hole campus. More news about this will surface in the very near future.
The Hollywood Connection
Just recently, we discovered that Jonas' track 'Tales from the South' has been used in 'Never Back Down', an American blockbuster who reached the theaters last year. The movie tells the story of a young teenager being lured into an underground fight club. 'Tales from the South' is used in one of the scenes so... maybe it's the start of Steur's Hollywood career! Only time will tell ;)
Steur Bros; 1up!
'Steur Bros' is the project of Jonas and his younger brother Simon. They have been doing several tracks already and we finally can disclose a little bit more about one of them. 'Scrambled Eggs' will see a release on the summer EP of the notorious Dutch House label 'Sneakerz muzik' in June. This is not the only Steur Bros release that is in the works but we'll still keep the other ones under wraps for a while!
Brand new episode from the ‘Breakout’ podcast available!
Expect finger lickin’ material by the Hoxton Whores, The Swedish House Mafia, a true classic remix by Gabriel and Dresden and the new remix from Jonas Steur for Juicy. Download Jonas Steur BreakOut Episode 16 NOW!

Report: W&W debut at A State of Trance 400 and Re-Ward at Trnava! “Hi all!
What a crazy but great weekend I just had. Thursday, Willem and me had the opportunity to play at the legendary A State Of Trance 400 celebration! Since we are both huge fans of the A State of Trance radio show, it was more than an honor for us to play there. We had to play 2 hours, so we were able to really build our set. We started off with a few techy tunes and after that we played a lot of our own material plus some new exclusive stuff. We really had a great night, and we would like to thank everybody who made it possible, especially Ruben de Ronde!
On Saturday I flew to Slovakia, where I had to play at the Lovely Experience party together with Stoneface & Terminal. When I arrived, the whole place was packed already! I had to play 2 hours again, but time was really flying, it seemed to be only 30 minutes or so, cause I was enjoying it so much! I want to thank Frog Flash and Sona for having me over, and Mr. Schössow for the Chinese food the morning after haha!
Hope to see you all soon somewhere across the globe!!”
-Wardt-
W&W in the Mix – Download the ASOT 400 Guestmix from W&W

Trance Energy Australia – The Aftermath!
The dust has just started to settle following Leon and Co’s breakneck trip around Australia slammin’ it on the country’s first Trance Energy tour. Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane were all feeling the heat… Quite literally in fact as the mercury topped out at 25c (or 77 degrees Fahrenheit fans!) over the Easter weekend as the DJs block-rocked their way around the country. Leon’s from-the-turntables footage will be online soon at youtube.com/leonbolierofficial If you’re itching for a peak now though, Leon’s been reviewing all the fan footage currently online and picked out a couple of his faves which you can check out now!
Leon Bolier in the Mix – ‘Streamlined 2009 - Buenos Aires’
Yep, we know - last month’s intro of Leon’s new compilation CD was rather ‘teasing’ in terms of the information! We’ve got a far beefier 411 update for you now though. Entitled ‘Streamlined 2009 - Buenos Aires’ (commemorating his recent debut performance in Argentina) the CD is scheduled for release late May. It will play host to a wealth of new material, including (of course) new Bolier gear and will reproduce his diverse, in-club twist on trance. Coming through Spinnin’ we’ll have tracklist and release details for you next month.
‘Thug’ & ‘Sofa Cure’ – Out Now!
‘Thug’ & ‘Sofa Cure’, Leon’s latest club-thumpers are out, about and doing more than the required damage! ‘Thug’s already picked up considerable radio heat from Ferry on Corsten’s Countdown & Judge Jules on Radio 1, while out in the club-land its been getting a comparable hammering courtesy of Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn, John O’Callaghan, Gareth Emery & Bobina. You can add it to you most treasured mp3 collections now via:
‘Wet Dream’ – Becomes Tiësto’s 538 Pick of the Week!
Slightly further down the release line it may well be, but Leon’s return match with Galen Behr has been catching some serious heat. Left exclusively in the capable hands of Tiësto and following a thorough road-test by the man, he made it his Pick of the Week on his 538 Club Life show last week. You can catch a glance at him socking ‘Wet Dream’ to a properly up-for-it Bucharest crowd here and we’ll have full release details in next month news-cast.
“Gone South” out this month on High Contrast Recordings!
Cliff Coenraad first appearance on High Contrast is instantly making an impact. The record debuted during Trance Energy, which took place on March 7th, and was one of the most played record that night. No surprise requests for a copy have been coming in ever since. Early heavy support from the likes of: Judge Jules, Rank 1, Armin van Buuren to name but a few, looks like Cliff is not gone south, but going up!
A small pick from remarks by those who received “Gone South” as promo: Sander van Doorn: Sounds really nice this record!! Like it!! Gareth Emery: Great release, original mix slams it! Top solo work from Cliff here. Agnelli & Nelson: huge tune m8 will support this thanks Trance.Nu: This is very classy staff! The Original is one of the better, if not the best tech-trance tunes I've heard all year! Leon Boiler mix is deep and mysterious 9/10 Menno de Jong: Great release... Loving the stabs - Leon mix packed for gigs! 8/10 Preach: big tune! support original mix Richard Durand: Nice record, I will play the Bolier Remix
Many people have waited for the release date, and finally it will be announced!
This beast will be unleashed through the downloadstores from April 21st!

A few weeks ago, ID&T gave me the chance to play at their famous Trance Energy event.

I would like to thank ID&T for giving me this opportunity and all my friends and family who came with me. But most of all, all you people who came to see me and made my night!! I owe you bigtime! ;)
That’s all for now, if you want to stay updated about me and my music, just join my facebook group, add me on myspace or for our Dutch fellows: add me on hyves!

Anyway... she noticed me this website, of wich I didn’t knew they were selling clothing and footwear. Doesn’t come to your mind when you see the name of the shop right? But I bummed on some cool sneakers wich I’m really trying to get, see for yourself.

I decided it was time to start presenting the show myself. It gives a more personal feeling to it and hopefully this way I can keep improving the show for you guys!
Also, I've been working my ass off in the studio lately. There's a lot of new stuff coming up. From now on a little different, but I promise you it will be better than ever!" - Galen =)

Solarize Agency is a dedicated dj agency, arranging quality bookings for a small number of excellent dj’s is and has always been our core business. Bringing very talented dj’s to the top of ‘dj land’ is our main target. And with our current roster that should not take more then hard work, trust and some love…
Our Roster: Leon Bolier, Galen Behr, Cliff Coenraad, Re-Ward and Jonas Steur, are each on their own significant way, boundary seekers. Both in producing as well as in dj’ing they are doing their thing, yet not forgetting that at the end, the audience is where they are doing it for. Every performance again is mind-blowing, clubbers tearing the roof down of every club, or making a mess of every festival field in the world.
